WirePro
started business in 1984 as a software company providing programs for the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) industry. WirePro incorporated 15 years ago as Schein Research, Inc, but is still known as WirePro. Over the past 3 decades WirePro has changed its focus to meet the needs of an ever evolving ATE industry.
WirePro was the first company
to introduce a graphical program for operating a wire wrap machine on a PC. This was in the days when all other similar programs required a minicomputer such as the DEC PDP11. First used for breadboarding, the program quickly migrated to the ATE industry as the programs were developing, WirePro started manufacturing its own wire wrap machine, QuickWrap, and a fixture verifier, Max.
