For over 15 years WirePro has been designing “wireless” Translator Boards
(T_Board) for ATE fixture fabricators. WirePro specializes in T_Boards for Agilent and Genrad testers. WirePro does not manufacture the T_Board, but we do supply all the files necessary for your board shop.
The same fixture data files
needed for creating a wired fixture along with a SOW (Statement Of Work) is required for a wireless T_Board. We will layout and route the board, then generate all the artwork, net lists, and supporting files for verification. Typically dense, high test point count, and/or dual sided board are ideal for wireless technology. Layer counts can vary from 4 to 12 or more layers depending on the number of test points and density on any one area.
Unlike wired fixtures,
ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and wiring errors require provisions built into the T_Board.
