Description
Slider 2 is our mechanical over clamp for test fixtures. Ball bearings glide all moving parts. No metal rubs on metal because of careful placement of nylon washers between all moving parts. The Slider 2 has 0.50″ vertical movement, with a 10 to 1 ratio between the actuator handle and pressure plate.
Slider 2 is perfect when vacuum is not an option.
Slider 2 may also be used for dual access or two stage testing. Mechanical for 1 stage and vacuum under the support plate for the other stage.
Constructed of solid aluminum, this rugged assembly has a brushed, clear anodized finish. Gas springs, handles, and hinges are completely assembled for ease of installation.
All sliders can be customized to meet your specific size requires at a reasonable cost.
